Collections Officer

About the role

Manages non-performing portfolio recovery through direct client contact, negotiating payment plans that preserve the relationship and minimize exposure.

Responsibilities

• Contact clients with overdue balances for vehicle loan collection management.
• Negotiate payment plans that preserve client relationships and minimize losses.
• Accurately and timely document each interaction in the collections system.
• Coordinate with the legal department on collateral recovery cases.

Requirements

• 1+ year in collections, customer service, or telemarketing.
• Negotiation skills and emotional resilience under pressure.
• Basic CRM or management tools proficiency.
• Minimum: high school diploma; some college preferred.
