Panacrédito celebrates its 14th anniversary of financial inclusion with technology and purpose

On its 14th anniversary, Panacrédito reaffirms its commitment to a more equitable future, showing that innovation, social impact and financial efficiency can be combined to transform lives.

EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO. — Panacrédito announced this Monday that it is celebrating 14 years of making a difference in the Dominican Republic and Central America.

The fintech, founded in 2011, has centered its model on a simple but powerful proposition: using technology and people’s assets as collateral to offer financing, regardless of their credit history.

In a press release, Panacrédito noted that, with more than 400,000 people served, it has shown that alternative credit can be a real gateway to financial inclusion, with 40% of its clients becoming banked within 12 months of their first credit with the platform.

The company also indicated that its approach is designed to serve those who traditionally do not qualify for banking products, allowing them to start or improve their credit history and make progress.

“We set out to create a real solution for a historically ignored population. We bet on an agile model, based on assets and technology, that respects the user’s reality and offers a concrete path toward economic progress,” said Víctor Óscar Pacheco, CEO of Panacrédito.

The company has positioned itself as a strategic ally of the banking sector, contributing clients with verifiable credit history and promoting responsible use of credit. As a member of Adofintech, Panacrédito also promotes transparency standards and credit-bureau reporting, strengthening the country’s financial ecosystem.
