Víctor Pacheco: "Credit must reach where banks don't"

In an extensive conversation with Listín Diario, Víctor Pacheco reflects on the journey from his early entrepreneurial years in Santo Domingo to leading one of the most dynamic business ecosystems in the Caribbean.

Pacheco's vision has been consistent from the start: build an ecosystem of companies that solve real financial inclusion problems in the region. From Panacrédito, which issues loans using vehicles as collateral, to CrediGo, which finances smartphones in minutes, each group company targets the same goal with different tools.

On the future, Pacheco is direct: VOPM Group will continue expanding regionally, but without losing the agility that sets it apart. "A large company with the soul of a startup. That's what we want to keep being."
